So there was not much else that got done. The girls were GREAT! They took care of all the odds n ends and helped with Trynnity, a feat itself. I am not complaining, I just felt totally helpless. I did not make it to the park to visit with friends today, but kept my promise to the girls that their friends Emmie and Jessie could stay tonight (they are visiting from Canada). Keep in mind my girls have also been stuck in the house for 3 days now.
Once Billy came home I managed to make some spaghetti and feed all five kids. (Prestton would still not eat) I decided it would be best to head to the grocery store baby free and get back up "sick food"; juice, popsicles, and more pediasure.
My list was small, only about 9 items total. I grabbed a cart, the sale add and headed into Fry's. Has anyone besides me had the pleasure of visiting your neighborhood grocery store on a Saturday night after the holidays? It was a mess. And the people... well... that is all I have to say about that.
In my rush attempt to grab what we needed I also noticed several "extras" that would be helpful to have on hand. Thirty minutes later I was packing my van with my cart load of "necessities" and had spent WAY more than I had intended for this week's grocery bill.
Now here we are on a Saturday Night watching a movie on t.v. (I do not even know what it is), blogging, and eating the Krispie Kreme doughnuts my husband brought me in leu of flowers because of my rough day. I can hear big kids building forts in the front room, Trynnity singing herself to "sleep" in my bed and fingers crossed Prestton is sound asleep in his crib- FINALLY!
I promise to start all my new year resolutions on Monday!
I have a dress to fit into on June 20th!!!!!
Here is to Saturday Nights...
