This too shall pass... I am just missing my hubby!

From This: Our First Kiss
It is late in the Fisher home. Prestton is super easy to lay down at night, Trynnity will just keep going until you place her in bed and the big girls just finished up a movie. So here I am blogging. Billy is working his new job and the adjustments have been extra hard on me. Returning to work and raising our four beautiful children "on my own" was not the original plan. But I should not be surprised, nothing has ever really been planned for me. I have always been a very free spirit and firmly believe that everything in life happens for a reason (only God could ever understand the crazy road map he laid out for me!) This transition has just been a lot harder than I could have ever anticipated. I worry all the time! I do not see him and vice versa. For ten years we have been threaded together... and now I feel lost. Our story started at Chilis. We waited tables together while we were both trying to get through school, and I was a single mom with Baylee. My Chilis "family" would help me out by babysitting her when I had evening classes. We lived vicariously and ended up together at a friend's party. Devynn came ten months later and at the two year mark we tied the knot. Both of us have had common goals and worked our "booties" off to get where we are today never settling. We anxiously awaited the birth of Trynnity in 2006 and completed our family circle with our son Prestton this past year. Every step has been made together. Don't get me wrong, this jump was made with hands held tightly and me shutting my eyes. I know that we will come out on top and be stronger- we have made it over many speed bumps. Some how I will find that inner strength to be the supportive, loving and devoted wife...best friend, because that is what he is to me. And I know many of you have husbands that are in a similar boat, this is just sooooo new to me. I think if there was less stress in other areas of my life this would be a bit easier??!! Who knows, it is what it is and I should be greatful we have stability with the way things are right now (hmmm, maybe that will be part of my silver lining). I am eternally greatful for the support I get from my friends and family- you are all the best! Thank you! And with a big hug, kiss and goodnight prayer I am off for some R & R in my big fluffy bed and tivo while awaiting for my Prince to come home.

Can you believe that? !!?

Our Spring Break was pretty laid back. Normally we are all over the place visiting/ traveling...I just have no energy. But my beautiful children make up for that! For example, twas the last week of Spring Break when all was clam in the Fisher home. Prestton had laid down for his morning power nap, Trynnity was snuggled up with mom and dad, and the big girls....WHAT!!#*** IS GOING ON???? No one can ever be on the same page. They are as loud as can be slamming into walls and sounding like the furniture is going to fall apart. I tell them to go play farther away from the nursery and to settle down (jeez, I sound more and more like a mommy with every kid I get). Off they RUN through the house to the playroom, playing a "game". Billy and I are talking and they keep getting louder. I get up and start to walk down the hall only to be meant by Baylee holding her hand over her mouth and crying. I keep thinking "didn't I just say settle down?!" I ask my 2 innocent daughters what happened all the while trying to peel away Bee's hand. "We were playing." "It was just a game." "She threw it first..." You get the idea? Looking down I see little white pieces...gum??..in Baylee's hand. OHHHHH NOOOOOO. It is half of her front (front!!!!!!) permanant tooth. Trying to remain calm I take a closer look and feel my eyes starting to brim over. All I can think about is her sweet smile never being the same again. Than, is this fixable? Is the nerve exposed? Is she in pain? I should have been more firm or re-directed faster, and of course, how much money is this going to be to get it fixed! Being a Sunday, I get no immediate answer to the buzzing questions.
So how did this happen you ask? The "game" was to catch the "frisbee" aka Trynnity's pretend plastic play plates. And whack- right in the mouth by super diva Devy to big Sissy Bee she gets a homerun Of course being my mellow dramatic actress, Devynn burst into a show of tears, sobs and apologies (Billy and I both could not help but to laugh at thhis point because it was very over the top). We did not have the heart to punish either girl- one with a missing teeth and an excelerated heart rate were enough.
So the folowing Friday we find ourselves in the dentist office. 2 1/2 hours later we have a "like new" temporary filling on Baylee's front tooth. We have to keep an eye on it and make sure the remaining part of the tooth does not discolor or die.She will go back in a few years after she looses more of her baby molars and the braces get placed on and off to get a permanant crown. I was just thankful that you really can not tell the bottom part was ever damaged or fake. It looks GREAT! Can you beleive that?!

Butterfly Kisses

The three headed butterfly!
What is that?!!!??

Mommy and Trynnity

ohhhh!!!!lookie mommy!

this is the one she was looking at

To kick off our Spring Break we went to the Butterfly Magic Garden at the Botanicle Gardens. Our "adopted" daughter Kyla just celebrated her 11th birthday and decided that she would like to go. So I packed up the babies (Baylee and Devynn were already there) and met up with the birthday crew. Much to my dismay my big girls DID NOT LIKE the butterflies. It freaked them out and they wanted to get out of there as fsat as possible. The rest of the birthday bunch made it happily through and had to leave for their various destinations. I had already purchased tickets for myself and Sugar Bear while we were waiting for Billy to join us. He also decided not to participate once he arrived. I was not going to let this get me down, I handed the stroller, diaper bag, baby, and "big" babies to Billy and off through the butterflies Trynnity and I went. She was in awe! We spent almost 30 minutes in the very hot/humid little greenhouse chasing after the butterflies and looking at the goldfish in the minuature pond. Honestly I did not really care about seeing the butterflies, I was having fun watching Trynnity! Her excitement was contagious and caught the attention of the many "older" people amongest us. It was very magical.

Happy Birthday Devynn! Friday the 13th...

The Royal Treatment for our Princess
The Party Girls and Prestton

Yikes! My lil Devy with the huge smile, big bows, and constant giggles just had her 9th birthday. I took her out for the day for some very much needed mommy/ daughter time- alone! (this does not happen enough...we are sooo used to sharing the time we get all together) She was very indecisive about what she would like, and I was just out of ideas. So I took her shopping and she got a new DS game (Tinkerbell...too fitting), the new movie Beverly Hills Chiuahua (also very Devyfied) and than decided to take her to the nail salon. She got a big girl pedi and mani and LOVED it!!!! She chose a french pedi with a hot pink flower on each big toe and did hot pink nails with lil white flowers on her thumbs. Next we headed to the hair salon for a trim. Upon her return home balloons, friends and ice cream were waiting. Our home was filled with 10 little girls very excited to be making sundaes and having a water balloon toss. Most slumbered early (11ish) while I had a few decide to try and pull an all nighter. Billy says he will be happy when this phase passes, but I told him we stil have a good ten years left for girlie parties: )
