Trynnity's First

Trynnity is now 2 1/2 years old. We decided it was probably time to turn her crib into a toddler bed. So off came the front "foot board" of her crib (with teething nibbles and all) and on went the "keep you snug in your bed" toddler board. She put her favorite stuffys and blue blankie on her bed. The first night was sooo exciting, climbing right into her spot all by herself. Soundly she slept (and to our surprise did not get out in the morning!) Patiently she waited for us to come and get her from her room. It was great! She loved it... for about 2 nights. Then came her first nightmare. Now many of you know that I am terrified of the dark, being alone etc. Some of this fear stems from the very vivid nightmares I remember as a little girl (and I do not watch horror movies!) So when my lil Sugar Bear insisted "The Guy" was in her room trying to get her, I did what any good mommy would do... we went through her room with a big flash light and "fairy dust". 4 days "The Guy" was still in her room (and 2 full nights her mommy did not sleep). Poor Trynnity would not even get her shoes out of her closet! So we put up Baylee's old nightlight disco ball, play the Baby Einstein lullaby collection, and put Prestton and Trynnity to bed at the same time. We tell her to help "bruber" go to sleep. So far so good. We are "Guy" free for 3 days now!

Oh poor Trynnity! Seems like she is being a good big sister though. Good job staying in your big girl bed Trynnity!
