"Hey, I didn't know you were really going to take more pictures!"
Even after four babies I forget how wonderful and fast all those "first" approach. In the last two weeks Prestton has mastered crawling, sitting up, pulling himself up and standing, eating crackers (and basically trying to get anything you have into his mouth!) as well as moving from the baby tubby to big boy tub! We also have battled the Tucson heat in our wonderful community Water Park, where Prestton gets a kick out of splashing his little hands wildly in the pool (we think he is trying to impress the girl babies).
And in 10 days Prestton will undergo his first major surgery. After many doctor appointments, test and LOTS of antibiotics we will be heading to Phoenix Children's Hospital to repair the obstruction from his ureter tube to his right kidney. We have been referred to a wonderful pediatric urologist in Phoenix. After examining his latest renal scan and reviewing Prestton's ultrasounds, it is best if we fix this problem now before his lil kidney is damaged any more. It will also hopefully correct the reflux that he has, which means no more medicine in our near future! Of course his mommy has had to be extra strong for her lil man and will be very grateful when all of this is behind us. He will have to stay for at least one night and if he does well we should get to come home the following afternoon. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
Lots of Love, Prestton and Family
